Do I need a Stripe account to use PixPay?
You need a Stripe account to accept card payments. On the free plan you can use bank transfer and PayPal without connecting Stripe. Connecting Stripe unlocks the Pay Now button on invoices and automatic paid status updates.
Does PixPay hold my money?
No. PixPay never touches your funds. When a client pays by card the money goes directly into your connected Stripe account. PixPay uses Stripe Connect so each user's payments flow to their own account.
What does my client see when they receive an invoice?
Your client gets a branded email from invoices@mypixpay.co.uk. Clicking View Invoice takes them to a clean, mobile-friendly page showing all invoice details, your bank transfer information, and a Pay Now button if card payments are enabled.
Can I send recurring invoices automatically?
Yes — on the Pro plan. Set up a recurring invoice for any client with a frequency of weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. PixPay generates and sends the invoice automatically on the scheduled date without any action from you.
What happens if my client doesn't pay?
PixPay sends automated payment reminders at set intervals. You can also send a manual reminder at any time with pre-loaded reason templates — from a friendly nudge to a firm final notice. If a client is persistently late you can flag them as suspended.
