What happens when I reach 5 invoices on the free plan?
You'll see a prompt to upgrade to Pro. Your existing invoices and clients stay exactly where they are — nothing is deleted. Upgrade when you're ready and carry on from where you left off.
Can I cancel Pro at any time?
Yes. Cancel any time from your Settings page and you won't be charged again. You keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period — monthly or annual.
Is there a free trial of Pro?
The free plan itself is your trial — you can test the core product with 5 invoices at no cost. There's no time-limited Pro trial, but the free plan gives you a genuine feel for how PixPay works.
Does PixPay charge a percentage on payments?
No. PixPay charges no additional percentage on card payments. Stripe's standard fee applies — 1.4% + 20p for European cards — and that goes to Stripe, not PixPay. Bank transfer and PayPal payments have no platform fee at all.

Can I switch between monthly and annual billing?
Yes. You can switch to annual billing at any time from your Settings page to lock in the saving. Switching from annual back to monthly takes effect at your next renewal date.
Do I need a Stripe account to use PixPay?
Not to get started. The free plan works fully with bank transfer and PayPal. Connecting Stripe is required to enable the Pay Now card payment button on Pro — it's a one-time setup in your Settings.
Is my data safe?
Yes. PixPay is built on Supabase with row-level security — every user can only access their own data. Card payments go through Stripe. We never store card details. Your client data stays yours.
